Nach einer kurzen Einf\u00fchrung in die verflochtene Sach- und Rechtslage wird insbesondere der Verordnungsentwurf des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments vom Mai 2022 eingeordnet, der unter anderem eine obligatorische Sperrklausel sowie eine Quotenregelung enth\u00e4lt. Im Rahmen der Untersuchung wird auch angemessen auf die noch nicht abgeschlossene Reform des Direktwahlakts aus dem Jahr 2018 eingegangen. Following a brief introduction to the factual and legal situation, particular attention is paid to the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament from May 2022, which includes, among other things, an obligatory election threshold and a quota system.
