This Saar Blueprint<\/a><\/strong> examines the implications of the European Union\u2019s accession to the European Convention of Human Rights focussing on the provisions of draft revised accession agreement of 2023. It examines several key procedural aspects in terms of their practical viability and effectiveness in future accession scenarios. Furthermore, the relationship between EU Member States and the other High Contracting Parties is analyzed by identifying potential risks and gaps. Although certain inconsistencies remain unsolved, the author argues in favor of an EU accession to the ECHR which would strengthen the Convention system as a whole.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
