Toward Greater Gender-Sensitivity in Migration Law: Positive Developments regarding Female Refugees and Displaced Persons

On 7 October 2022, Professor Giegerich presented a paper on positive developments regarding female refugees and displaced persons at a conference on “Gendering Law: Challenges and Perspectives” that was organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership LAWGEM – New Quality in Education for Gender Equality. Since last week, this year’s European Summer Course of the Europa-Institut is in full swing and the Jean-Monnet Chair is also involved: Today, Prof. Dr. Giegerich will give a lecture on the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU and Human Rights Protection in Europe and this afternoon & tomorrow morning there will be a Case Study on „Fighting Discrimination“ prepared by two Research Associates of the Chair, Julia Jungfleisch and Laura Katharina Woll.
