Since last week, this year’s European Summer Course of the Europa-Institut is in full swing and the Jean-Monnet Chair is also involved: Today, Prof. Dr. Giegerich will give a lecture on the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU and Human Rights Protection in Europe and this afternoon & tomorrow morning there will be a Case Study on „Fighting Discrimination“ prepared by two Research Associates of the Chair, Julia Jungfleisch and Laura Katharina Woll. Our latest Saar Blueprint entitled „Responsibility for Violations of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law by United Nations Peacekeeping Forces“ is now online and directly available here. The paper was written by María Joya Rodríguez to obtain the degree of „Master of Laws“ (LL.M.) at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University.
