Prof. Giegerich hat am 11.4.2024 im Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz im Rahmen der neuen Veranstaltungsreihe „Europarecht im Gespräch“ an einer Podiumsdiskussion über „Der Schutz vor Diskriminierung – vom Grundrecht zum Grundwert“ teilgenommen. Sein Saar Brief „Licht und Schatten im EU-Antidiskriminierungsrecht“ ist die überarbeitete und erweiterte Fassung seines Eingangsstatements.

Prof. Giegerich participated in a panel discussion on the protection against discrimination and the shift from a fundamental right to a fundamental value, hosted by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as part of the new event series „Europarecht im Gespräch“. The Saar Brief is the revised and expanded version of his opening statement and discusses the merits and drawbacks of EU anti-discrimination legislation.
